Four Years Of Continued Growth For Construction

The Federation of Master Builders' (FMB) 'State of Trade Survey' for the second quarter of 2003 has reported that the UK's small and medium-sized builders grew for the sixteenth successive quarter.

Workloads and employment levels are also expected to increase in the third quarter however almost three quarters of those surveyed reported difficulties recruiting skilled labour. This shortfall is expected to restrict further growth opportunities.

Details of the entire report can be found at the FMB website.
