AZEK Trim, manufactured by CPG Building Products, introduces AZEK Ready Rake®, a one-piece extruded profile offering a finished look that is more convenient and consistent than laminating two pieces together on the jobsite. Extruded to resemble a 1 x 8 with a 1 x 3 stacked on one side, AZEK's Ready Rake is a highly functional profile that comes ready to install, thereby saving time and labor expenses.
Made of cellular pvc, the AZEK Ready Rake is available in 18' lengths and is offered in Traditional smooth finish. The profile features longevity and durability due to its cellular pvc composition and features a 13/16" cut-out to cover siding edges when being used as a frieze board or to accept a soffit when being used as a fascia board.
With clean, finished looks, AZEK Ready Rake is impervious to moisture and insects and never requires paint for protection, although it has excellent paint adhesion if painting is desired. Like all AZEK Trim, Ready Rake is covered by a 25-year warranty.
In addition to Ready Rake, AZEK Trim is introducing Quick-Corner®, another innovative profile, in 2015. AZEK's Quick-Corner features an easier installation with a generous 13/16" J-channel pocket that accepts virtually all types of siding. And, a 1 ¼" nailing flange allows simple overlap of flashing or house wrap and the use of a pneumatic nail gun makes installation even faster.
These two new products join AZEK Trim's product line that already includes other unique and contractor-friendly products such as easy-to-install Column Wrap; Finish Grade Trim which offers a finished surface without visible fasteners; and Universal Skirt Board that works with any siding type, along with 29 architectural mouldings such as crown, casing and sill profiles.
