Huttig Building Products, Inc. ("Huttig") today announced the sale of its Southwest Roofing Supply branch located in Farmers Branch, Texas to Pacific Coast Supply, LLC headquartered in North Highlands, California.
The Southwest Roofing Supply location was the only branch within the Huttig branch network that focused on the sale of roofing shingles and supplies to the residential, storm-related roof repair and replacement segment. The location represented approximately 1.25% of Huttig's total revenue in 2014.
Jon Vrabely, President and CEO of Huttig, said, "The sale of the Southwest Roofing business completes our divestiture of non-strategic assets and fully positions Huttig to focus on our core competence of being the best wholesale distributor of value-add millwork and building products in the industry.
