US LBM Holdings, LLC announced today the successful completion of its acquisition of the gypsum business of CEMEX USA.
CEMEX USA's Gypsum Supply Division operates 16 locations throughout Florida and an additional unit in Alabama. Specializing in the distribution of drywall, metal framing and acoustical ceiling products, the business to be acquired carries a full line of wall and ceiling related building materials including lath and trims, joint finishing compounds, finish sprays, fasteners, metal and plastic beads, stucco sand and cement, insulation, tools, and other related products.

Originally founded in 1996 by Drew Rosen, Rosen Materials began as a supplier of building materials in South Florida and Las Vegas, Nevada. Rosen quickly grew to become one of the largest privately held gypsum distributors in South Florida.
