NV5 Global, Inc. (the "Company" or "NV5"), a provider of professional and technical engineering and consulting solutions, announced today that it has been selected to provide on-call professional engineering services, including civil and structural engineering and surveying services, to Verizon for $3 million. The two-year contract was won by the Manhattan infrastructure design and engineering team at The RBA Group.
Liam Madden, Project Manager at NV5, elaborated, "The scope of services for this particular project includes utilities, site and civil design, and construction support. Specifically, NV5 will utilize New York State and New York City designs and drawings to assess interference impacts with various Verizon manholes, conduits and cable facilities. NV5 will also perform field surveys and design changes to mitigate facility interferences, and will prepare cost estimates and bid packages for inclusion into State and City construction bid packages for the Client."
