New Colombia Resources Announces Construction of Water Reservoir Near 1200-Acre Theme Park in Girardot

New Colombia Resources, Inc. ("New Colombia or the 'Company"), a U.S. company with premium metallurgical coal and building material mining titles, medical marijuana, and industrial hemp and other resource operations in Colombia, is pleased to announce a project to build a water reservoir near a 1200-acre theme park to be built in Girardot, Colombia.

Their property is 25 miles from Girardot where they believe the Walt Disney Company (NYSE: DIS) is building their fifth theme park and first in Latin America. Last May the Mayor of Girardot publicly announced that Disney executives were scouting for 1200-acres to build a theme park in his town. A few days later he retracted his statement saying, "it's a group of Mexican investors building a 1200 acre "Disney like" theme park. New Colombia's sources have confirmed it is Disney that has bought over 1000 acres so far. New Colombia Resources cannot speak for Disney but will contact them for a potential investment in the much needed reservoir. The existing aqueduct system in Melgar was built in the 1950's and used asbestos in the cement water pipes, adding to the need for an additional water supply.

In 2014, Erasmo Almanza, Director of New Colombia Resources, Inc., purchased 8 Ha. (20 Acres) in Melgar, Colombia to apply for a mining title to supply sand building material to the municipality and build a resort hotel. The property has 1000 feet of road frontage for easy access to the building materials. It also has two water falls that will be used to build a much needed water reservoir. The mining title application number is PB4-08441 for 27 hectares of which the Company owns 8 hectares.

Melgar is a resort town 60 miles southwest of Bogota that is known as the "City of Swimming Pools." The region has over 800,000 "floating" visitors every weekend because of the hot weather compared to Bogota where it is cold and muggy, this causes major water shortages. All of Colombia will experience water shortages due to El Nino weather phenomenon. Water is expected to become a scarce commodity in Colombia making this project much more valuable. Phase 1 of the project is US$ 10 Million and can be funded either through a Private Public Partnership (PPP) or privately. New Colombia Resources believes they can raise the money needed privately. Potential investors are encouraged to contact the company for an executive summary and cash flow models. The Company is completing aerial surveys for their pre-feasibility study that they will begin to market to institutional investors, including the Walt Disney Co.

"Erasmo and I are thrilled to potentially have Disney come to Girardot, we never even considered this when we bought the property a few years ago. I don't want to make announcements for Disney, but I need to move this project forward for the benefit of the whole community. Our sources tell us they've sold land to Disney, which is the best kept secret in Colombia," stated John Campo, President of New Colombia Resources.
