In both competitions, Meridian Communities’ Metro, Trio and Evo neighborhoods were honored as the “Attached Community of the Year.”

We believe winning top honors in both of these competitions is unprecedented in the building industry. Millenia’s outstanding showing reflects our commitment to create a very chic, urban-centric, style-conscious community.

The San Diego Union-Tribune praised Metro, Trio and Evo, “for its innovative design and use of housing styles – mixing flats, townhomes and rowhomes into a fresh, vibrant neighborhood delivered with modern urban flair.”

Other Icon Awards include:

  • Best Interior Design – Shea Homes’ Z at Millenia with interior design by Ami Samuel Interiors
  • Best Architectural Design – Meridian Communities’ Evo with architecture by Woodley Architectural Group
  • Best Sales/Leasing Environment and Best Advertising/Community Branding – Metro, Trio and Evo by Meridian Communities

Other SoCal Awards include:

Millenia, an exceedingly walkable 210-acre community, is designed to provide homes, dining, shopping and employment opportunities all connected by tree-lined promenades, plazas, parks and bikeways. Each home will be within a three-minute walk from one of the six parks planned in Millenia. Nominated as the "Smart Growth Urban Center" of South County by SANDAG, the Millenia community has been honored for its far-sighted and sustainable land plan.
