Building Site Safety Inspector Blitz

In 2001/2002 44 construction workers dies or suffered serious injury in Staffordshire as a result of a fall.

As part of the Europe wide “Don’t Fall For It” campaign the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) is planning to swoop on construction sites in the Leek area during September. The inspectors will be assessing danger risks and issuing enforcement notices at construction sites not complying with safety regulations.
