JACO Manufacturing has been manufacturing fire rated caulking compounds for 10 years and have just introduced JACO FLAMESEAL™, an elastomeric intumescent fire resistant caulk for sealing penetrations in fire rated walls.

JACO FLAMESEAL™ is a high performance, single component intumescent firestopping sealant with superior adhesion to unprimed surfaces. It is non-slumping and will bond with most materials. When exposed to fire or high temperature it will expand and help seal penetration voids caused by surrounding combustion.
