Smaller Pack Sizes For Some ARDEX Products

ARDEX have released Feather Finish, Ardurapid 45 and ARDEX DPM in smaller, more user friendly smaller pack sizes. The change in pack size makes them ideal for smaller projects like conservatories, classrooms, domestic floors, extensions, storerooms, offices and retail premises.

Feather Finish is now available in 5kg tubs and is used for sub-floor patching, filling and feather finishing joints, ridges, gouges, depressions etc. It can also be used for smoothing joints between staggered plywood sheets. It dries rapidly and without the use of primers provides a high bond to concrete, plywood, cement/sand screeds and existing ceramic tiles. Floor coverings can be laid as soon as 15 minutes after Feather Finish has been used.

The rapid setting and drying repair mortar, Ardurapid 45, is also available in new 5kg tubs. It is used in the internal repair of stair treads, risers, screed repairs and is hard enough to walk on and receive floor coverings after 1½ hours. Adrurapid 45 can also be used to form ramps and falls, make good around fittings/pipework and to fill cracks or joints.

The new size for ARDEX DPM is a 3kg tin. ARDEX DPM is a surface damp proof membrane to be used in conjunction with the established latex and water-based levelling compounds from ARDEX. After hardening it produces a high inherent strength membrane with an excellent bond to appropriate substrates including very damp concrete and screeds.
