Wooden windows with the durability of PVC

Andersen Windows have launched a new range of windows with the strength of wood and the low maintenance characteristics of PVC-u.

The “Woodwright” windows are made from Fibrex - a type of composite made from a patented blend of reclaimed pine wood fibre bonded with a specially formulated thermoplastic polymer. Fibrex is strong and rigid, has the same thermal performance as wood, is more stable than natural wood but has the same appearance as wood. It resists flaking, blistering, peeling, cracking and corrosion. This means is doesn’t need painting or regular maintenance.

Black Millwork are distributing the range in the UK which includes 99 standard sizes and made-to-measure windows can be manufactured in 3mm increments.
