Construction materials project - initial results

The initial findings of a research project into making the best use of construction materials in housing will be discussed at a workshop at BRE on 12 December 2003.

The project, Better exploitation of materials research in housing, is being undertaken by BRE and the Co-Construct partnership with the support of DTI and industry partners.

The project aims to encourage the much more widespread use of research findings to improve the competitiveness of materials suppliers and their clients, by developing carefully targeted outputs and promoting more efficient and effective materials solutions.
