Mills Bricks and Pavers Becomes ABC Bricks, No Change to Mills Transport

Builders, developers and home owners on the North Coast now have access to a larger range of products as Mills Bricks and Pavers join ABC Brick Sales. After more than four decades servicing the Northern Rivers with brick, paver and masonry supplies, Mills Bricks and Pavers closed its doors last Friday. The business re-opened today as part of the ABC Brick Sales group.

Mills Bricks and Pavers, along with Mills Transport and Burkes Haulage, has been part of the group of companies owned and operated by the Mills family. Director of Mills Bricks & Pavers, Reg Mills, says "As part of a restructure of the Mills family group of companies, we accepted an offer by ABC Brick Sales to amalgamate the businesses of Mills Bricks & Pavers and Burkes Haulage with ABC Brick Sales. By joining with ABC Brick Sales, our customers will have access to a single entity providing brick, paver and masonry sales and haulage services from Hervey Bay to Coffs Harbour."

Managing Director of ABC Brick Sales, Mr Andrew Mills is excited that his company will be servicing the NSW North Coast, "We are looking forward to continuing the long tradition of customer service established by Mills Bricks & Pavers. ABC Brick Sales is pleased to announce that most of the existing Mills staff will be transferring to ABC Brick Sales and they will continue to offer the same great choice of products as well as some exciting new ranges."

ABC Brick Sales will operate outlets in the following locations on the North Coast - Ballina, Coffs Harbour, Lismore, Murwillumbah and Tweed Heads.

Reg Mills wishes to reassure customers of Mills Transport that the change to ABC Brick Sales will not affect the operations of Mills Transport. It will be "business as usual for Mills Transport" Reg said.

"The Directors and Management of Mills Bricks and Pavers wish to thank all of our staff and customers for the loyalty and support they have given us over the past 47 years. We wish them and ABC Brick Sales all the best in their new venture."
