Liebherr Group to Display Over 60 Construction Machinery Products at 2010 Bauma Fair

At the 2010 ‘Bauma’ construction-industry trade fair, held in Munich (Germany) from April 19 – 25, the Liebherr Group is displaying more than 60 exhibits from every area of its extensive construction machinery programme on the trade fair’s largest stand. Liebherr has developed an entirely new stand concept for its 13,500 square-metre outdoor site (Stand 803-807).

A large number of new and further developed products are the main focus of interest on the new Liebherr stand. The list of exhibits includes eleven mobile cranes, six crawler cranes and hydraulic rope excavators, three large rotary drilling units, nine tower cranes, six mobile excavators, seven crawler excavators and the same number of wheel loaders, four crawler tractors and loaders, two telescopic handlers, a truck mixer, two mixing plants and last but not least a large mining truck. The Liebherr programme of new products at the 2010 ‘Bauma’ is rounded off by two world premieres: an innovative bulk material handler and a centre-steered mining truck.

In addition to exhibits intended for classic construction tasks, special-purpose machines for demolition and freight handling, and also for rail tracklaying and maintenance, tunnel and pipeline construction can be seen.

On a separate stand (Hall A4/111), Liebherr is exhibiting the latest developments from its range of construction machinery components, including large anti-friction bearings, diesel engines, hydraulic rams and cylinders, pumps, transmissions and electronic assemblies.
