Teleconference on Valuing Construction Companies to be Held on May 13

Business Valuation Resources, LLC (BVR) is pleased to announce “Valuing Construction Companies” on May 13. BVR has confirmed panelists Don Drysdale, an expert in the field of business valuation, and Robert Davidson, a national leader in accounting and consulting for construction businesses. Over the course of their 100-minute presentation, Drysdale and Davidson will discuss both the classic challenges to valuations in the construction and building sector, as well as emerging trends in a field that has been particularly hard hit in the recession.

“Securing this program is perfectly in keeping with BVR’s mission to deliver the most relevant and timely sessions in our training and education lines,” observes BVR President, Lucretia Lyons. “We hear first hand from appraisers, business owners and litigators alike about the dire need for more data and research on construction company valuations. I can’t imagine any better panel to lead this charge given Don and Robert’s unique credentials and experiences.”

Scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Pacific/1:00 p.m. Eastern on Thursday, May 13, 2010, “Valuing Construction Companies” will be the latest installment in BVR’s “Industry Spotlight Series,” a teleconference series focused on the valuation of specific industries, businesses, and business models. Registrants will also get ancillary reading materials from BVR’s extensive library and databases and will be eligible to receive two continuing professional education (CPE) credits in the field of accounting.
