Construction Starts on Final Segment of 11.5-Mile Transmission Line Project

Jersey Central Power & Light (JCP&L) has started construction on the final segment of a new 11.5-mile transmission line project designed to enhance service reliability and help meet the growing demand for electricity in Mercer, Middlesex and Monmouth counties. The overall cost of the project is $48 million, with $18.8 million expected to be spent this year.

Construction Commences on Allen’s Tech Center on Greenville

Construction began this month on Tech Center One, the first phase of an office/warehouse complex at Greenville Avenue and Bethany Drive in Allen. Completion of the 38,000-square-foot office/warehouse hybrid building is expected in August. Two additional building phases are planned, for a total of 94,000 square feet.
