Professor Obtains Patent for Eco-Friendly Construction System, First for CU Denver's College of Architecture and Planning

A University of Colorado Denver professor and former graduate student have been awarded a patent for a new, eco-friendly construction system that turns 100 percent recycled fibers into high strength, easy-to-assemble building materials. The patent is the first for CU Denver's College of Architecture and Planning.

Lemminkäinen Sells its Building Construction Business in Sweden

Lemminkäinen has completed the sale of its building construction business in Sweden. Lemminkäinen agreed on 5 June 2015 to sell all outstanding shares in its Swedish subsidiary Rekab Entreprenad AB to Rekab’s current management as well as Rekab’s Malmö business to Swedish Wästbygg Group and Rekab’s Uppsala business to Norwegian Veidekke Group.
