Logan County, Ohio Bridge Constructed Using AXION's STRUXURE 100% Recycled Building Materials

AXION International Holdings, Inc., a leader in recycled plastic and plastic composite technologies used to produce ECOTRAX™ rail ties and STRUXURE™ building products, today announced its participation in the official ribbon cutting ceremony on May 29th for a bridge in Logan County, Ohio made of AXION's STRUXURE™ 100% recycled infrastructure building products. The Company had announced the purchase order for the bridge in September, 2012.

Owens Corning Completes Acquisition of Thermafiber from Altus Capital Partners

Altus Capital Partners, Inc. (“Altus”), a private equity investment firm focused on niche middle market manufacturing companies in the U.S., today announced the closing of the sale of Thermafiber, Inc., a leading producer of mineral wool insulation products for commercial, industrial and horticultural applications, to Owens Corning, a leading global producer of residential and commercial building materials, glass-fiber reinforcements and engineered materials for composite systems.

Government of Canada and Province of Saskatchewan Mark Building Renovation Completion in Prince Albert

Renovations are finished on a 17-unit apartment block for individuals in housing need. Located at 345 River Street West in Prince Albert, the building consists of six one-bedroom and 11 two-bedroom units. The Government of Canada and the Province of Saskatchewan, along with P. A. Community Housing Society Inc. (PACHSI) marked the completion today.
