US based Ryland Homes has announced that it will construct Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity to be located in Savage, MN. This construction is part of Habitat’s Home Builders Blitz 2012 initiative conducted across the nation.

The Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC) has awarded the LEED Platinum certification to the headquarters of Manitoba Hydro Place located in downtown Winnipeg. This is the first office tower to receive this certification in Canada. The headquarters has 22 stories and covers a total area of 700,000 sq. ft. and was inaugurated during 2009.

US-based Central Concrete will supply its low-CO2 concrete for the 49er stadium in San Francisco. As per the contract Central Concrete will supply 80,000 cu.yd of concrete for the complete structure of the stadium and the auger cast piles.
