The Global Commons Building of the Hun School has been approved by the Princeton Zoning and Planning Board on June 21, 2012. Dorm rooms and the state-of-the art classrooms will feature in the multi-purpose space. This building is planned to open by the year 2014.

Representing the Southwest Virginia chapter, Nick Safay awarded Heartwood the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) credentials of the U.S. Green Building Council.
The hardwood floors from Coswick collection are further enhanced by three new colors.
