KBR and CHS Sign Construction Contract for Carolinas Medical Center in North Carolina

Baker to Design and Construct Four US Armed Forces Reserve Facilities

Michael Baker Jr., Inc., an engineering unit of Michael Baker Corporation, announced today that the design-build team of Baker and The Korte Company has been awarded four separate contracts by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Louisville District, to design and construct Armed Forces Reserve Facilities in McAlester, Okla.; Tyler, Texas; Round Rock, Texas; and Fort Allen, Puerto Rico. The total construction value of the facilities is $74 million while Baker’s combined fee for the projects will be $5.0 million.

KBR Announces Acquisition of Houston-Based Energo Engineering

KBR - today announced that it has acquired Houston-based Energo Engineering. Energo provides Integrity Management (IM) and advanced structural engineering services to the offshore oil and gas industry.
