Background

I have 14 years experience in testing and evaluation of paving products made of clay, concrete and stone, both in the laboratory and on site. I have been closely involved in the development of paver polishing tests to simulate in service performance of clay pavers. I have also been involved in British Standards committees dealing with paving issues for approx. 5 years. I am CERAM’s representative on the UK Slip Group, which studies all slip resistance issues of all flooring materials.

Joined CERAM direct from 6th Form college in October 1988. Worked as Technician in Refractories division until July 1990, then transferred to CERAM Building Technology.
