Hill Commercial Construction to Renovate 200 Union Plaza Facade Building

Hill Commercial Construction, LLC has been awarded the 200 Union Plaza Facade Renovation project by Crown West Realty, LLC.

"We're very pleased to be partnering with Crown West Realty and Boland Studio2 of Architecture," says Chad Hill, president of Hill Commercial Construction. "We look forward to putting our expertise in technical, specialty construction to work on such a high profile building in Denver's Union Corridor."

Hill Commercial Construction, which won the project in a "hard" bid against four other general contractors, will manage a complete exterior renovation of the six-story building beginning in January 2011. The project is slated for completion in mid-May 2011.

Renovation plans include removal of the 30-year-old building's existing canopies and storefronts, installation of a new corrugated, composite panel system, as well as Laminator ACM specialty construction wall panels. The project highlight will be a five-story "wave wall" climbing the office tower, made with a combination of structural steel and perforated panels. Decorative concrete, newly designed building canopies and specialty light fixtures will also be installed.
