Curtner Lumber's New Line of Hardwood Planks to be Distributed by Boise Cascade

Curtner Lumber Company's Ozark Natural Paneling, a new line of hardwood planks for walls, ceilings and wainscot, will be distributed by Boise Cascade locations in Memphis and Tulsa throughout Tennessee, Mississippi, Arkansas, Kansas, Western Kentucky, Northwest Alabama, Oklahoma and Missouri. It was originally launched by Boise - Houston in early December 2010.

Not an engineered product, Ozark Natural Paneling is made from solid hardwood that is durable and easy to care for, with unmatched rustic beauty. "Ozark Natural Paneling offers a rich hardwood look for walls or ceilings," said Earl Stephens, General Manager, Boise Cascade, Memphis. "It makes perfect sense for our market which is the hardwood capital of the world." Stephens said the easy-to-install, tongue-and-groove paneling is a great green choice for residential or commercial installations.

Tulsa also seems like a good fit, especially for the wainscot accent on walls. "There is no other quality product like this on the market and we think our customers will appreciate its rich, elegant beauty," said Larry Cromwell, Panel Product Manager, Boise Cascade, Tulsa. "Nothing like the big sheets of paneling from years ago, Ozark Natural Paneling can really add warmth and character to any home or commercial structure."

Made in Newport, Arkansas, Ozark Natural Paneling comes from the finest, sustainable-growth "heirloom quality" hardwoods. The half-inch thick planks are available in a variety of species with regional appeal, including red and white oak, wormy maple, knotty alder, cherry, walnut and rough-sawn canyon red oak. Species-matching mouldings are also available.

Installing easily with nails and/or glue, Ozark Natural Paneling is perfect for remodelers, builders or DIYers and well suited for informal dens, rec rooms, man caves, hunting or fishing lodges, log homes, lake houses and cottages. Commercial applications include ski lodges, resorts, restaurants and office buildings. The paneling is very reasonably priced for a solid, natural hardwood product, retailing at around $3.00 per square ft.
