Portland Cement Association's Fall Cement Seminars Address Today’s Industry Concerns

Portland Cement Association’s Education and Training Department‘s fall cement industry courses continue PCA’s commitment to offering seminars that address current industry concerns and changes. Using a combination of practicing professionals with solid experience and the latest in simulations, course participants master the practical skills they need to make cement more efficiently, more economically, and with as little impact to the environment as possible.

Fall cement workshops include:

  • Oct. 3-6—Kiln Process
  • Oct. 17-19—Mill Grinding
  • Oct. 31-Nov. 4—Microscopy of Clinker and Cement
  • Dec. 6-9—Cement Manufacturing for Process Engineers

Registration and more information about the individual courses are available online at www.cement.org/learn.

All courses are held at PCA Headquarters in Skokie, Ill., and hotel and in-town transportation accommodation assistance is available upon request. Programs conducted at PCA meet requirements set by the U.S. Office of Education for Continuing Education Units. PCA retains permanent records of CEUs awarded to course participants, which are available on request.

PCA is also a registered provider for the American Institute of Architects, Learning Education Units.
