Dominguez Construction Provides Eco-Friendly Concrete Construction

According to JD Dominguez, the proprietor of San Francisco-based Dominguez Construction, concrete is a green construction material with  sturdy, efficient, durable and high thermal mass. He assists the new home owners to utilize concrete in all types of jobs such as construction foundations, patios and driveways to achieve greener construction.

Concrete is beautiful and will last much longer than other materials

Dominguez said that most of the concrete use limestone as the primary product, which is available in plenty and it can also be manufactured from unused spin-offs of plants, wastes from steel mills and other production facilities thus consisting of either recyclable or recycled materials. Buildings constructed utilizing concrete don’t rust, rot or burn like iron or wood constructions and will have double or triple the life span than other  constructions. He explained that the natural feature absorbing heat and retaining it can be exploited by concrete building owners by erecting HVAC equipment of smaller capacity to cut down their spending on heating and cooling. The cost- effective concrete can be easily maintained than marble, granite or grass.

Dominguez construction while providing robust and cost-effective concrete structural works for building owners also allows them to contribute towards environmental protection.
