Pleasants Construction Signs License Agreement with Pipeline Renewal Technologies

Pleasants Construction, a Clarksburg, MD-based company, declared that it has contracted a license accord with Pipeline Renewal Technologies to carry out Janssen Process structural lateral connection restoration and mainline point mending all over West Virginia, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Maryland.

Pipeline Renewal Technologies is the only company in North America that provides sales and support for Janssen Process.

The Janssen Process technology provides structural restorations to close the connection between the mainline and lateral by robotically plugging the gaps in pipe bedding utilizing pressure-injected resin. The process can also be employed to execute repair at the mainline point without disturbing the inside diameter. It is anticipated that both the companies will proceed for the training process to handle the new Janssen Process truck that is to be delivered to Pleasants Construction in August.

Pleasants Construction happens to be the second licensee in North America for the Janssen Process. Earlier in 2008, Reynolds-Inliner, an Orleans IN-based company, has taken the license and provides lateral application services in the metro areas of Baltimore and Washington.
