The Washington-based company, Extreme Quality Painting introduced Liquid Granite Dreams in 2003 and is introducing it to the residential sector in the West Coast.
Initially introduced in Orlando and Washington areas, the technology has gained popularity in Great Britain and Canada. A unique blend of aerospace, military and industrial products, Liquid Granite Dreams has been developed to replace the slab granite and save natural resources.
Using UV curing light, hardness of the material can be achieved in just about 2 seconds, thus allowing contractors to remodel kitchens in just one day. Once the installation of the liquid granite is complete, the kitchen is immediately made accessible, unlike traditional countertop refinishing materials, which generally take 2 to 3 weeks to cure.
Liquid Granite Dreams looks and feels like granite, is easy to install and is a cost-effective alternative to real granite. It is more mold, bacteria and stain resistant than real granite and is also available in a variety of colors. The material also requires less maintenance, making it an ideal solution for apartment complexes, hospitals and restaurants.
