GLASS RECYCLED, based in Texas, is providing GlassPLANK terrazzo, which is a substitute for normal terrazzo flooring. This eco-friendly product is available in several colors and enables addition of more points when striving for LEED certification.

The company’s GlassPLANK terrazzo is gaining popularity due to its counter top, sustainable floor and internal wall finishes. It is durable and can be installed easily.

Beautiful colors and patterns can be created with GLASS RECYCLED floors

This new terrazzo is produced in different widths at the production unit of the company. It is efficient and can be mounted with a seam of 1/64”, and does not need onsite grinding, sealing or polishing. This innovative product is made from recycled epoxy and glass, and is used in hospitals, office building, restaurants, schools and several other residential and commercial applications.

As applications of GLASS RECYCLED are generally non-porous, it does not require the sealing of the walls, countertops or floors, enhancing friction, sustainability and cost efficiency. Glass brings highly reliable colors, brightness, depth, translucence and sparkle to all applications of epoxy terrazzo. Conventionally used cement terrazzo’s compressive strength varies from 4,800 to 7,000 psi and compressive strength of marble terrazzo is 12,000 psi .GLASS RECYCLED’s terrazzo will surpass or equals that value, as it is harder than marble terrazzo.

GlassPLANK has the durability and beauty of marble or granite. Every product of the company is custom formulated and created according to the specific design input of the clients. Recycled glass, including porcelain and mirror finishes, is available in many colors. This glass can be combined with epoxy to match with the precise paint color.

A new showcase has been introduced online by the company to see the color choices of epoxy and glass, and make their own custom design. This is then manufactured at the company’s manufacturing plant and delivered to the customer.
