NorthGrid Solar, a prominent turn-key rooftop solar PV systems installer and an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company has declared that through the Feed in Tariff program of Ontario Power Authority the company’s West Village Suites project have achieved Commercial Operation.
NorthGrid Solar Elevated Truss at West Village Suites
The West Village Suites incorporate a rooftop solar system of 88 kW DC and also includes NorthGrid's exclusive elevated truss system (ETS) therefore allowing continuous roof access to the owner of the building as well as superior module density and enhanced performance to the owner of the system. The ETS system is ideal for institutional, industrial or commercial buildings with hardly any roof deck buttress for the solar energy systems.
Carlo Di Gioacchino, President and CEO of NorthGrid Solar said that NorthGrid is thrilled to have realized this landmark achievement at West Village Suites, which serves as a platform to display the LEED Platinum edifice in Hamilton City. He further added that he was delighted with the reaction of the public towards the ETS solution. He also declared that the product line of NorthGrid Solar has also been widened to rope in a proprietary ballast system that comes as a component of the turn-key EPC solutions that NorthGrid offers to the building owners.
Additional ETS and ballast mount projects of NorthGrid are planned to be completed across Ontario that vary from 40kW DC to 700kW DC.
