Archstone Commences Construction of Rental Townhome Development in Santa Clarita

Archstone specialising in apartment investment and operations has announced that it has commenced construction of a new rental town home development in Santa Clarita through a joint venture with Resmark Apartment Living, a division of Resmark Companies. An official groundbreaking ceremony was conducted at the construction site.

The new development will consist of 157 units covering an area of 12.49 ac and will be located around the corner of Lost Canyon Rd and Via Princessa. The first units are expected to be available by the spring of 2013. The development will feature a spa, yoga lawn and a resort style pool. Residents of the development will also have access to a fitness room, playgrounds and barbecue areas, business centre and a club lounge. Each unit will feature three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms and will also contain 2-car garages. The kitchens will be fitted with stainless steel appliances, flat panel cabinets and granite countertops. Certain town homes will offer a view of the mountains and will also contain a private patio and an outdoor fireplace. The Santa Clarita site is located close to State Route 14, which in turn connects to Interstate 5. This route can be used to travel to Los Angeles. The site is also close to the Santa Clarita valley, which is occupied by professionals from the aerospace, manufacturing, high tech and biomedical research industries.
