Royal Building Products to Partner with Habitat for Humanity for Rehabilitation of 55 Homes
Royal Building Products has announced that it will partner with Habitat for Humanity and other builders located across the US for the rehabilitation and repair of more than 55 homes as part of the Home Builders Blitz 2012 program. A total of 200 homes will be rehabilitated and revamped during the program.
Royal Building Products will provide vinyl sliding, trim and accessories for the 55 homes located in Tennessee, Indiana and Ohio. The company will work with Modern Builders Supply and ABC Supply Co in contributing through three of its sidings brands for the homes that it is supporting. The Celect Cellular Exteriors brand will be used for three homes located in Memphis. The brand is a wholly recyclable one that has been created from cellular materials similar in appearance to wood. The brand’s gravity-lock design helps the sidings to be connected. This in turn helps preventing the onset of moisture even during extreme weather conditions.
The Royal Haven Insulated Siding brand is 1-1/4” thick foam which helps in the reduction of cracks and breaks through its effective thermal insulation. The brand has been produced in the company’s facility located in Columbus, Ohio. This will be installed for nine homes located in Indiana and Ohio. The Royal Genesis siding prevents dust, rust and corrosion by using the Dura Colour Protection and the proprietary Royalside compound and will be installed in 43 homes located in Tennessee. Home Builders Blitz is a collaboration between Habitat for Humanity and the building fraternity.
