“This 10-year agreement will allow National Gypsum to better compete in the growing Latin American market,” said John Ferretti, general manager for Interior Finishing Products. Under the licensing agreement, National Gypsum will supply the proprietary dry ingredients for its ProForm products. PanelRock will then produce ProForm ready mix used for drywall joint treatment in its Cartagena plant. It will be processed and sold under National Gypsum’s ProForm trademark. The first container-load of the ProForm dry ingredients has been shipped from National Gypsum’s plant in Atlanta to Cartagena.

PanelRock is licensed to sell the ProForm ready mix in Colombia, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Curacao, Central America, and the Caribbean.

National Gypsum, based in Charlotte, NC, is a leading supplier of gypsum board, interior finishing products and cement board to the construction industry. It manufactures its products under the Gold Bond®, ProForm®, and PermaBase® brands and has a network of over 40 facilities in North America.
