Scott Shuptrine Interiors to Open $3M Flagship Store in Royal Oak on March 7

Luxury returns to metro Detroit when Scott Shuptrine Interiors celebrates the grand opening of its $3 million state-of-the art flagship store on March 7. A stylish ribbon cutting ceremony is planned at 9 a.m. at the new gallery, which stands side-by-side with the Art Van Furniture store (32301 Woodward Avenue, Royal Oak, MI 48073). The store will open to the general public at 11 a.m. the same day.

Art Van Elslander , chairman and founder of Art Van Furniture, which owns Scott Shuptrine Interiors, and Director Nancy Jones , will host the event. Distinguished guests will include Birmingham Mayor George Dilgard , Royal Oak Mayor Jim Ellison , Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber President Joe Bauman and Royal Oak Chamber of Commerce President Howard Collens .

Scott Shuptrine Interiors is an impressive 12,300 square-foot freestanding addition to the Art Van Furniture store, and represents the largest design space on Woodward Avenue. The new $3M design gallery will feature 60 unique room vignettes, a stunning grand staircase, sculptural ceiling and dozens of elegant, luxury fixtures and amenities to assure the most enjoyable, first-class shopping experience for its patrons.

In addition to the new Woodward store, Scott Shuptrine Interiors is also located inside three other Art Van stores, including Grand Rapids, Petoskey and Warren. Collectively, the stores anticipate $20 million in annual sales.
