Graco Unveils New Mortar Pump for Spraying Cementitious Materials

Graco Inc., a leading manufacturer of fluid handling equipment, recently introduced the new Graco M680™ Mortar Pump. The M680 is designed to significantly reduce the labor hours required for projects such as resurfacing cement so that protective coatings or linings can be applied.

The Graco M680 speeds surface prep work by allowing contractors to spray heavy materials onto the surface, rather than trowel them on by hand. The Graco M680 is engineered to work with abrasive materials such as cementitious coatings, epoxy-based mortars, non-skid coatings, and polymers with fillers such as glass flake, silica, or sand.

“The M680 Mortar Pump is great for contractors who hand-trowel because it’s easy to use and it saves significant time,” said Eric Rennerfeldt, Product Marketing Manager, Graco. “It reduces manual labor, and is easy to clean and maintain as well.”

Contractors are taking notice of the significant savings the Graco M680 Mortar Pump delivers. “We cut our time in half and reduced our costs by one third to resurface a lift station using the Graco M680 Mortar Pump,” said Jeff White, owner of Commonwealth Epoxy Coatings in Newport News, Va. “We also sprayed a new material we normally have to apply by hand.”

Designed with a high-velocity circulating flush, the Graco M680 is easy to clean at the end of each workday. It is also CE-approved and approved for use in environments with explosive atmospheres.

The Graco M680 Mortar Pump is ideal for projects in the water and wastewater industry, mining, oil and gas, marine and offshore, building and infrastructure, and general construction. For more information, visit www.graco.com/M680 or email [email protected].
