Seeyond® Architectural Solutions recently installed a unique wall facing in the long corridor adjacent to the lobby of a new multi-use retail and residential property in downtown Minneapolis called 222 Hennepin. The Seeyond wall treatment features damask-patterned sub-surface printing and remote-controlled programmable LED lighting within a tessellated structure made of cellular resin modules.

"We were looking for a feature to fit a 40-foot-long wall with only a 10-foot ceiling height," said Chris Culp, president of The Excelsior Group, which owns the property. "We wanted something unique and dramatic. When we saw the Seeyond features online in their website gallery, we had our answer. We created a patterned, printed, lighted, colorful public art piece, which is visible from outside where there is high traffic. The flexibility of the solution is a great attribute: we can rotate color or keep it static; we can replace modules if they're damaged; we can even change out the entire design at a reasonable cost. The Seeyond wall facing is the perfect fit."
