Seeyond Architectural Solutions Wins Best of NeoCon 2014 Silver Awards

Seeyond® Architectural Solutions was honored in the prestigious Best of NeoCon® 2014 competition, sponsored by Contract magazine. Adding to a growing list of industry accolades, Seeyond was recognized by this year's contract-furniture design judges with two silver awards: one for decorative lighting and one for signage and wayfinding.

Seeyond Architectural Solutions wins Best of NeoCon 2014 Silver Award for its dynamic color-mix lighting solution, which controls color values of individual runs of LED strips independently and is DMX enabled. The new Seeyond lighting system now synchronizes to music and ambient sound.

In addition, Seeyond received three Honoree awards in the new Interior Design magazine HIP competition, which celebrates people and products in the commercial design industry. Seeyond was honored for three distinct product-solution attributes, which are reflected in both its Design and Select lines of specialty features: cross-market versatility; tech friendliness; and high performance.

Since its introduction in 2011, Seeyond has acquired seven Best of NeoCon awards including both a Gold and Silver in the Architectural Products category and a coveted Best of NeoCon Innovation Award, given to only a handful of the most remarkable new ideas in commercial interior design and furnishings.

New Seeyond Lighting Solution

The new Seeyond lighting solution has the ability to control color value of individual runs of LED strips independently. This lighting system produces smooth gradation when animating scenes and is DMX-enabled to allow for control via industry standard lighting controllers. The new lighting system also is Wi-Fi enabled to allow for remote control from smart devices. Also, sound integration allows animated scenes to synchronize with music and ambient sound.

New Seeyond Signage Solution

The Seeyond signage solution proves to be a dramatic yet sophisticated way to illuminate space and inform visitors through storytelling. Featuring sub-surface printing and/or surface printing, Seeyond signage and wayfinding wall facings change the entire atmosphere of existing space, bringing it to life and giving it new energy. Printed graphics that are illuminated and presented in a 3D format communicate key messages in a new and vivid way, while accurately adhering to customer brand identity standards.

About Seeyond

Seeyond® Architectural Solutions delivers a comprehensive approach that integrates the design, manufacturing and installation of architectural specialty features -- walls, wall facings, ceiling clouds, enclosures, columns, and transitions -- including office walls and partitions, mobile walls, lobby features, reception areas, work spaces, and media wall transitions. Their proprietary system provides total control of the outcome and an empowered sense of risk-free design freedom for commercial architects and designers.

Seeyond offers two distinct paths to installing a specialty feature: Seeyond Select features mobile walls designed as a system. Each wall can be moved by anyone at anytime. At a moment's notice. Seeyond Design features walls, facings, clouds, enclosures, columns, and transitions, all designed to specification.

Seeyond is driven by parametric-design software called the Tess™ Specification Tool, which is patent pending. The Seeyond solution proves to be an ideal approach for efficiently creating organic shape and complex form for self-structuring specialty features. Designers can access Tess through custom one-on-one online design sessions with Seeyond.
