Dow Corning will promote their innovative solutions for high performance façades to building designers and construction management at the forthcoming BAU exhibition in Munich, Germany. Visitors will find Dow Corning experts and products in Hall C2, Stand 303 at the booth of leading architectural glass producer Okalux GmbH.
Dow Corning experts will be on hand to introduce new technologies, such as:
- Dow Corning® Transparent Silicone Structural Adhesive (TSSA) – a breakthrough technique for bonding and securing the steel button connectors to the interior or exterior glass panels in point fixed glazing. Dow Corning TSSA is particularly advantageous for architects and building owners as it allows unique design possibilities in glass façades with almost invisible bonding points.
- Dow Corning® 896 PanelFix – an easy-to-use, aesthetically pleasing solution for non-glass façade panel bonding applications that require high durability and fast handling.
- Architectural Insulation Modules developed by Dow Corning – manufactured by Okalux and showcased as High Performance Insulating Glass Powered by Dow Corning™, these modules feature vacuum insulation technology to offer superior insulation in a slender design, enabling enhanced aesthetics and contribute toward lowering the U value of a façade.
The BAU exhibition takes place January 19 – 24, 2015 at the Munich Trade Fair Center. Visitors will receive a warm welcome at the Okalux booth.
