Sustainable Holdings Inc. today announced the issuance of a U.S. patent for its groundbreaking residential track and panel building system, WalKor®. Continuing the company's mission to further healthy living through technology and innovation, WalKor® is a state-of-the-art structural frame that combines ease and efficiency for builders and homeowners alike.
The new WalKor® system delivers pre-fabricated, customizable building panels that can form any architectural design and adheres to the 2012 International Residential Building Code. Each panel comes ready-made with steel structural studs imbedded in expanded polystyrene (EPS). As the need for cost-effective, energy-efficient housing solutions is on the rise, the WalKor® system is the perfect foundation for the Sustainable Holdings Inc. offering and will be a key component in the company's plan to build 100 affordable and sustainable homes in the U.S. this year.
