Panduit, a world leader in the design and manufacture of wiring and communication products, has introduced a revolutionary new Stainless Steel Cable Tie. The ties have been engineered for extreme conditions and the enhanced locking head design has resulted in the worlds highest loop tensile strength ratio of 890N : 4.6mm / 1112N : 6.4mm / 2000N : 7.9mm. This equates to an 80-100% increase on their closest competitors.
The ties can be used outdoors, indoors or even buried. Service life outdoors is expected to be 40 years and the increased strength means increased safety. Round edges and smooth surfaces mean no cable damage or injury during installation and maintenance, plus the self-locking mechanism results in fast, and effortless installation.
The ties are water, UV, chemical and radiation-resistant, available in available in 304 and 316 stainless steel. They are also non-flammable and suitable for temperatures from –80oC to 538oC.
