PMC Unveils New decaBDE Free Flame Retardant Masterbatches

PMC Polymer Products Company announces the introduction of a line of decabromo diphenyl ether (decaBDE) free flame retardant masterbatches.

These products have been designed as direct replacements of decaBDE containing masterbatches for use in compounding, injection molding, film and sheet extrusion and blow molding of polyolefins, polystyrenes and engineering polymers for the production of electronics, business equipment, housings, pallets, construction and agricultural films requiring compliance with flame retardant standards.

Building upon our expertise and experience with decaBDE free Avantra® ignition resistant HIPS compounds, these products, sold under the Endura® tradename, have been developed to provide comparable flame retardancy as decaBDE masterbatches at similar loading levels in the final compound.
