Dynapac Unveils Two New Tracked Pavers for Roads and Highways

An all new, medium class, Dynapac SD Series tracked paver is introduced offering optimised operation, maximised operator efficiency with excellent all-round viewing, innovative operating concepts and reduced engine noise.

SD Series Pavers

Designed for high productivity on demanding city roads and highways, two new SD Series, medium class, tracked pavers – the SD115C and SD135C - are introduced by Dynapac; offering maximised operator efficiency, high laydown production rates of up to 750 t/h, increased fuel efficiency and reduced engine noise.

The new tracked pavers offer a basic width of 2.55 - 3 m depending on the screed model and  which, when equipped with the hydraulic extendable screeds and extension boxes, provide a working width of 8.80 - 9.70 m.

Operator efficiency

To offer increased operator comfort and efficiency, the driver’s seat can be easily turned 30º, providing the driver with an excellent unobstructed view into the hopper, the auger compartment, screed, lane indicator and unloading lorry.

Featuring a newly developed control panel, all function keys are arranged intuitively according to the function group and frequency of operation.

Economic features

The new SD Series tracked paver features a 13,2 ton capacity hopper and a laydown thickness of up to 300 mm.

The SD135C is driven by a Deutz TCD2013 LO6 diesel engine rated at 140 kW (187 hp) at 1800 rpm.  The SD115 is rated at 120 kW (160 hp) at 1800 rpm.  A 1600 rpm Eco mode unit is available. This low engine speed ensures reduced noise levels and remarkably reduces fuel consumption.  A thermally activated fan control, particularly in the warm up phase at the start of the shift operations lowers the noise to an incomparable comfortable level.

A 400 litre fuel tank ensures longer operation and reduced refuelling.

Screeds

Featuring standard gas-heated screeds, electric-heated versions, including high compaction electric screeds are optionally available.

New developed internal stabilisation bars for the screed’s material guiding plates reduce setting up times when starting a new job. The screed remote control on both side shields now swivel for better access to the screed functions and levelling adjustments.

The redesigned VB5100TV screed with shortened screed body and new multiple, anti-slip, foldable footsteps, ensure that the complete paver is no more than 6200 mm long and 2550 mm wide; allowing ease of transport together with other machines on a platform trailer.
