Metromont Buys Majority Interest in Florida-Based Royal Concrete Concepts

Metromont Corporation is pleased to announce the acquisition of a majority interest in Royal Concrete Concepts (RCC) in West Palm Beach, Florida.

The transaction will leverage each firm’s market leading technologies to create broader solutions for a growing customer base in the eastern United States and overseas.

Headquartered in Greenville, South Carolina, Metromont is a leading provider of precast/prestressed concrete building systems in the southeastern United States.

Royal Concrete Concepts was founded by Mr. Wally Sanger in south Florida in 1989. Today, the company manufactures custom precast concrete modular building systems for residential, educational, commercial and military projects and provides turn-key construction services for both domestic and international markets. The unitized modules are shipped virtually complete with all components and finishes; including cabinetry, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, ceramic tile, paint, windows and doors. RCC recently expanded with a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility on a 180 acre site in Okeechobee, Florida. To date, RCC building systems have been utilized in over 20,000 various building applications including over 4,000 energy efficient, architecturally appealing homes capable of withstanding up to186 mph hurricane winds and more than 4 million square feet of modular concrete space, including 3.5 million square feet of classroom space for Florida schools.
